LOOP-100 wire box has been designed to execute the connection between two or more structural elements in a fast and efficient way. This union consists in overlapping the LOOPS of each precast element and filling the joint with concrete.
The LOOP-100 is formed by a steel box with a wire loop that has two parts. One of them remains inside the box and it is used for the connection between structural elements. The other one, is embedded in the concrete element and is responsible for connecting the loop with the concrete element where it has been placed.
The LOOP-100’s box is embedded in the concrete element and the inner wire box is covered with a protector tape. Once the precast concrete is poured, the tape is removed, and the wire loop is folded until obtaining a 90º angle.
Finally, the connection between structural elements is done through the placement of a steel rebar between the two wire loops (one on each element) and filling the joint with concrete.
